Mitel 3300 to Cisco call manager using Qsig

Hi can someone please confirm if a straight cat 5 patch lead will work when connecting between a mitel 3300 using Qsig via E1 to a cisco router with an E1 then to a cisco call manager using Qsig. Many thanks

Yes. If the link does not come up, change NT / LT setting. That reverses transmit and receive. This will only work with an embedded E1 though.

If you're using a PRI card you need to change the physical jumpers on the card to change NT and LT.

If you're using an NSU, you need to move dip switch 6 - up for NT, down for LT.

You should never really need an E1 crossover cable.
