How can I generate a SNMP trap in the Mitel 3300 CXi? I want to test our trap receiver software. I know turning off the Mitel generate a trap but is there a easy way?

The system will generate a trap when the alarm state changes.
For a test you could busy out some trunks or a trunk group. Depending on how you have your alarm thresholds set, you will create either a minor, major, or a critical alarm.
Then just return the trunks to service and when that state changes you'll get another trap.
