Hi there,

I wanted know that whether I can fetch the status of ALL phone extension status through SNMP in Mitel 3300? If yes what is the OID (Oject Identifier) or from where I can download the MIB's?

For MiVB release 9 onwards, the MIBS are available to download from the server-manager page under Configuration / SNMP / Download

I don't know whether you can fetch the status of all phones using SNMP

Sorry, I usually set SNMP to forward traps to whatever monitoring equipment is requested. I don't have much else to do with them.

I just want to set the extension number through Snmpset command, there is a object name saying mitelExtension with OID number 1.3.6.1.4.1.1027.3 but I am not able to get any value (extension number) here.?

I got an OID to fetch the extension i.e., mitelExtensions,1.3.6.1.4.1.1027.3
but I am not getting any response from mitel 3300 (rel8.0) any idea why its behaving as such?

Hi, I had another look at this today with a mib browser.

The OID that you reference (1.3.6.1.4.1027.3) refers to mitelExtensions. But, I don't think this is an 'extension' like a PABX telephone extension.

The OID description is "The standards extension subtree. Used for extensions to any of the standard subtrees under the MIB-II subtree."

The only objects within this tree are mitelExtInterfaces and this details the network connections that the MiVB has. There are no other options here.

So I don't think this will work the way you want.
