Hi All,
We are using Mitel 3300 system Rel 8.0
All user are program for hot desking.
Now user is trying to set Call forwarding using 5320 IP phones key.
User dial blue key > Call forwarding > enter 9+ mobile number > Activate
Get confirmation msg diverted

But when external party dial user deskphone it ring on landline only.
COS looks okay, i mean CF external checked, PN to PN connection Allowed
I have to manually make changes in call routing to route to Mobile.
Anyone how to make it work from user desk, this could save my time.
Thanks in advance.

are you using 3300 release 8 or MiVB 8?

If you're using MiVB 8, can you set the forwarding manually in the programming?
System Administration Tool
Users and Devices > Advanced Configuration > Call Forwarding Profile

Have you attempted to use the Feature Access Codes to do call forwarding?
Call forwarding - Follow me - I have mine set as *8
to set this dial *8 9+number When you match a dialable number such as a full ARS entry, you should get dial tone.

Also program a CFWD-Always button to the phone so the user can turn this on and off at will.

One more question - are they trying to do this on the native phone or the hot-desk user? I would think this needs to be done on the HD users.

If it works when internal party calls, would look at trunk cos

After you have set the Call forwarding if you run the Locate Feature Extension command, do you see the call forwarding feature activated?
If you do, then your call forwarding is set correctly, it has to be CoS or external.

What type of trunk you are using - SIP, ISDN, other?
