We have a Mitel 3300 controller with 5330 phones. The system is so old that when I call our vendor they are starting to tell me "Oh man... that thing is old, the people that worked on those are starting to retire now." and they can't seem to help me with some of the issues we are facing which leaves us looking to forums and google for some of the solutions to our anomalies.
The latest being...
There is a call group(pickup group) for the secretarial department. When a call comes in, it rings to all the phones in secretarial then when one of them picks up the rest would get dial tone if they picked up.
Well we are starting to see when the receptionist picks up she is hearing dial tone. She puts the phone down, it rings immediately then she picks up and hears dial tone. This could happen 2 or 3 times before she picks up and there is someone there.
Any ideas on why this might be happening?
