Mitel 3300 not responding to SIP Options requests

Hello,

We recently completed upgrading out 3300 from version 8.0.x (not sure exactly which release)

Now it is running 9.0.3.15

Since that time, the system has stopped responding to SIP Options requests which are set periodically from the SIP trunk provider to confirm keep alive.

Consequently the carrier treats out trunk as out of service and there is no inbound calling.

Nothing else in the configuration has changed besides the software release upgrade.

Has anyone encountered an issue like this? Any ideas at all would be appreciated.

I noticed a lot of weired things with SIP stack on V9. So I had to downgrade to V8 (I can tell you exactly if you wish) which worked the best for my applications. I reused one of the old controllers, just purchased some SIP licenses for it.
