Mitel 3300 MXe - MLAA Question

Hi,

I'm slightly new to the Mitel scene, and I haven't exactly had any official training in the area. I mainly learn most on my own, reading help files or simply asking questions.

We have an MLAA setup with 3 options and the menu node mailbox setup at 2740 with a recorded greeting.

option 1 takes you to extension 2741 (mitel 3340 phone with a VM assigned to it with the same extension)

option 2 takes you to extension 2742 (another mitel 3340 phone with vm assigned with the same extension)

option 3 takes you to extension 2743 (also another mitel 3340 phone with a vm assigned to it with the same extension)

Call rerouting for each extension is set to reroute always to the voicemail hunt group.

The problem is that when a caller calls in and chooses an option and the person doesn't answer the extension the call routes back to the greeting for the MLAA instead of going to the greeting for the mailbox of the chosen extension.

I have a feeling it has something to do with the call handling but somewhere I'm missing something.

Are you using nametag routing anywhere in your method to get to the MLAA?

Yes, it was set to nametag, don't know how I missed that, switched it and it is working now.

Use an ACD path with a path interflow dialing list as MLAA and voicemail integration has interesting outcomes.
I find the ACD path option to be more configurable and flexible.
