mitel 3300 MXE locking up pots lines after hangup

I have a couple of 3300's that after the user hangs up the phone the system will keep the phones lines busy until either a manual reset of the system or a bu and rts of the lines in the maintenance commands. When the maintenance command rts is used it takes the system about 2 minutes to fully release the line and the line becomes available for the user to access it again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The problem is the clear disconnect time but i do not know how to change it to be honest.
Overhere we never or very rarely use analog trunks

I had an issue like this before; ensure that the polarity is correct going into the Mitel, then call your Telco provider and ensure that Clear on Disconnect is enabled on their side.

Does the polarity matter on the embedded ls ports on the 3300?

keep in mind that trunk descriptors for embedded trunks interact with the analog trunk assignment. For instance, for embedded the settings for trunk length are not effective from the trunk descriptor but from the analog trunk assignment.

Also if you have programmed a non-busy extension as a key appearance (faq1329-5872), the multiline set user must physically hang up or release the call. Otherwise it will never clear down.
