I have 2 university campuses where I need to transfer licenses between the controllers. They are UCC License Bundles version 1, how can I find out what are in these earlier versions of bundled licenses, ie: users or devices or both and whether these bundles can be split.

As you know the licensing now is all Enterprise User, so it has been greatly simplified. I would (if feasible) upgrade to 6.0 then the licensing will be easier to figure out without having to deal with seperate device/user licenses. Thanks.

What level of the bundles do you have? There was entry, standard and premium or something like that in V1 that had different product licenses in them. There is nothing in a system that would tell what was in a bundle because the licenses are applied across multiple products. Would suggest you ask the person who sold them to you.

Antoher point. You will not be transferring bundles so not sure why you need the info. UCC Bundles at this point are just marketing crap with no real tie in to a particular system. That's why they can suddenly create UCC V2. Its becuase they are just groups of licenses created to give better pricing. When the UCC bundles were purchased at some point the vendor created application ID's for each system in the AMC and then assigned the actual licenses to whatever system made sense at the time.

If you have a multi-device license on a MCD and want it on another MCD then just move it. The other licenses in the UCC bundle ie. Nupoint or MCA or Teleworker or UCA will still remain on their associated product and would not likely need to be moved.

If you need to move licenses a lot would suggest you invest in the License manager.

The beatings will continue until morale improves.
