Hi
I hope someone can point me in the right direction because I've had great help on here before.
One of our incoming lines is set up as a key system line which rings at one phone and then delay rings on several others. I want to extend the timer so it doesn't trip across to the others so fast.
I know I can assign a class of service in station service assignment but this only seems to relate to the phone extension and not the number itself.

Is this right? Is there another way of doing this?
Many thanks

Delay timer but its global so will addect anything else using the timer.(with that COS)

I believe the COS used for the group comes from the member of that group with the lowest PLID, in other words, check the PLID numbers for all the members of the key system and change the COS of the ext with the lowest PLID, you may want to create another one if this is used by other extensions

Just read your post again, you may also want to ammend the delayed ring timer for the COS of the phones that are members of the key system

MrMitel is correct as far as the Lowest PLID is concerned - I find it simplest to make sure all phones with shared functions have the same COS.

It might be necessary to set the timer in the Trunk COS.

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

Not 100% sure I know what you are doing. I see mentions of hunt groups but don't get that from the original post. You have a number that rings one phone then delay rings on others which sounds like simple call forwarding. I am assuming that the call is pointed to a key on the first phone and then forwards to a key on the rest of the phone which is delayed to ring. The Call forward no answer timer in the COS will govern when a call forwards from one key to another. However you could have the number pointed to a key on the first phone then the same key is on the other phones but with delayed ringing, then you need to change the length of the delayed ringing timer in the COS.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

I'll have a look at this - many thanks
