Mitel 3300 intergration with asterisk Via T1

I called support on this and they are not sure if it can be done.

But i got a t1 card for the asterisk Just a basic T1 i assume will work
I have a DSx1 Formatter II card....

Setup ..

MITEL <----T1----> ASTERISK (predictive Dialer---Vicidial)Only Outbound calls from the asterisk no inbound.

Tie trunks or regular ....


But my concern.. the call goes to a caller when they answer there will be a Message to play (go to vegas for 99 dollars blah balh... Press 1 to speak to an agent)

The agents are located on the mitel system so when the caller presses 1 to get to a 4 digit ext via T1 from the asterisk to Release the current call to the mitel and have it to where i have all 24 open channels still on the asterisk to pump out more calls..


Tricky setup...

How about integration over SIP? Works for me. Or there is another MITEL product, 6160 IQ server which is capable of doing this. Guys, correct me if I'm wrong.

eeek i knew about sip But i already got the t1 card and they aleady had a dsx formatter 2 card.... and licensing in place....


im jUst hoping i can sync between the 2 ...

Try to configure QSIG

I just did a help for a guy in Europte with an E1 and qsig so yes it will work for t1 but you need to use qsig. One as master one as slave
