If all lines are on the Mitel and the Mitel is Tenanted can you dial out from the INDeX and access there own lines i.e. ISDN2 lines

You can tenat trunks in the trunk assignment form

If connecting an INDeX to a Mitel you will need to setup a different access number...one way of doing this on the INDeX configure a translation to delete 9 and insert 8 - on the Mitel, route 8 to go over the trunk group you have configured for them users.

Hope this helps

We have a INDeX telephone system connected via DPNSS to a Mitel 3300 which hosts our ISDN30 trunks. To allow the INDeX to use the Mitel trunks we use route lists with string processing set to 'As dialled' and then direct it to Group containing the DPNSS trunks. Both systems use '9' for an outside line.

As far as tenanting, the DPNSS and the ISDN30 trunks all have a tenant number so just ensure the correct permissions are granted within the Tenanting Assignment form.

Hope this helps
