Hi
I recently brought a second hand Mitel 3300 CXI system as I did a few courses with Mitel Some years ago and not touched one for 5 years, thought it would help me with with my skills on Mitel

Software version: 10.2.2.15
VxWorks (for Mitel Embedded PPC83XX F100) version 5.5.2.
Kernel: WIND version 2.6.
Made on Aug 15 2011, 13:39:18.
Boot line:
ata=0(0,0)bootHost:/partition1/RTC8260 e=192.168.10.2:ffffff00 h=192.168.10.5 g=192.168.10.10 u=ftp pw=ftpftp o=qefcc
value = 129 = 0x81

I have tried resetting the passwords as Below

Reset_All_Login_Passwords

cd "/db/database/files"

rm "usrprfle.db"

but still can not login with system and password

any ideas?

Thanks Rich

did you reboot after the rename of the profile ?
i think that might be the version that required mitel assistance
version 4 and below can do the profile
version 5 and above can do the commands

full reinstallation of the software is probably your only option and then you will need to know the ARID to get it licensed

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

As per Billz66

4.2 required Mitel to reset the password

10.2.2.15 = MCD4.2 SP2 PR1

If you use the serial port and type cd "/db/temp/amc" (Including the quotations) you should be able to get the ARID you could then perform a full re-installation with the same software level and try to licence again with the ARID.

Be aware though if the hardware ID has been removed from the ARID on the AMC this wouldnt work but without access tot he AMC for that ARID you won't know until you try.

Thanks Billz66 and Thanks RAMitel

I have two questions

when I try cd "/db/temp/amc"

I get the responce:
-> cd "/db/temp/amc"
value = 0 = 0x0

and if I was to reload the system where would I be able to download the MCD4.2 with out a Mitel web login as cant seem to find on Google

Thanks for help on this
Rich

After you cd to the /db/temp/amc directory if you do a [tt]ls[/tt] (as in list) then is will display your ARID (it is actually a directory).

Mitel Software is technically only available to Mitel Resellers.

Thanks Sarond :)

If i do the below I can not see the AMC folder

-> cd "/db/temp/"
value = 0 = 0x0
-> ll
drwxrwxrwx 1 0 0 32768 May 14 12:20 ./
drwxrwxrwx 1 0 0 32768 May 14 12:23 ../
drwxrwxrwx 1 0 0 32768 May 14 12:20 media/
value = 0 = 0x0

-> cd "/db/temp/amc"
value = 0 = 0x0
-> ls
Can't open "(null)".
value = -1 = 0xffffffff

Maybe the system has already been wiped before being sold.

I just powered up an old controller and here is the text from putty.

(12345678 is the ARID in the example below)

-> cd "/db/temp/amc"
value = 0 = 0x0
-> ls
.
..
12345678
value = 0 = 0x0
