With help on here in the past I have successfully set up my mitel 3300 system so that incoming call names (which I have input in the telephone directory) appear on the phones as the ACD call is put through. Is there a way though that I can show on the phones or more importantly on the real time Contact Center screen - a name associated with a number that my staff are dialling out to - both outside numbers and speedcalls?
Any help would be great.Thanks

available in MCD 6.0 if its the Alpha Tagging you set up (outgoing alpha tagging). Not sure about speedcalls though.....probably work but cant say for sure as its a new feature they just released.

Thanks - where do I find the option to enable outgoing alpha tagging?

Aaah ok thanks... it must then be that I am putting the wrong numbers in somehow - on incoming calls i have to put 9~207xxx xxxx. I guess on outgoing it is slightly different.

and from the help files...When the speed call number (any of User Speedcalls, CDE Speedcalls or System Speed calls) is dialed, the alpha tag name programmed for the corresponding DN is retrieved and displayed on the caller’s set.

I don't think we've been upgraded - how would I know this?

What does DN mean in reference to the speed calls?

Cheers

directory number; I think it means that the speedcall number will be displayed.

If you are not at MCD 6.0 it will not work. it tells you what you are on in the opening screen of the sys admin from the top right hand corner under 'about'

It says under the 'about' active software version 8.0.11.7 only - I'm guessing we don't have an up-to-date sofware version and so it won't work.

Yup, thats old software....MCD 6.0 is 12.x.x.x.. Won't work.
