We are running Mitel 3300 controllers and have been looking at options for recording all incoming calls on PRI trunks.

I've read options for Oaisys and Telrex, but what others are good options, or what is the best option? Do they work good on the newest software MCD 4.1 and any real experience with it would be great info.

Will it record transferred calls, and calls transferred offsite to cells etc...

Is it easy for the end user to retieve the recordings?

Any info would be awesome. Thanks

hi
I have this system for recording calls I develop a program how extract all calls record incoming and outgoinng from all extension.

And the program has funtion very weell

also whit the last version of mitel you can select in the class service option assigment record incoming calls

and outgoing calls as well.

the telephone can automatic record all calls and save it in to the voice mail of the extension.

Yes we have the calls recorded from the extension but they want all the calls recorded and sent to the server from the 5550 console which doesn't allow the calls to be recorded.

We need a more robust setup. I think oaisys is the way we will probably go.

Then record the PRI circuits themselves. That way you would get all calls in and out. In addition to the vendors you mention NICE has a recording system for the PRI's. The benefit of directly recording the PRI's is that you can get calls to the console, transfers and don't need to shut off voice encryption on the 3300 or buy the SRC.

There may be no i in team but there are three f's in fudge off.

Oaisys is the way to go. We've been selling it and installing it for some time and it's really the easiest to tap into the PRI(s). It connects to Mitai for all details about the calls, etc. The Oaisys Talkument is a good value for a 2 PRI max system.

Ive used both Oaisys and Telrex. depending on your scenario, one could better suit you. Oaisys does have all the bells and whistles as well as trunk side recording but if you only need some basic, you can save some money with callrex. Callrex can record offsite calls to cell with the mitel secure recording connector. I think the callrex interface is a little more simple an easier to use. But Oaisys has a much more powerful feature rich product. So my advice is if you are going to spend a lot on Oaisys, you may want to make sure you can utilize all the features in it.
