can I setup an automatic clock change on a mitel 3300, for summer time etc...

if so how?

Yes, buy Mitel OpsManager, there is no provision in the 3300 itself to automatically change time.

thanks for the info. MT.

no automatic clock changes, what a pile of pants. long live Meridian

Yeah, sure. Syncing an Option 11 to network time is so simple. <cough>

I should have phrased my response differently. It may be easy to do automatic clock changes, but try syncing up your entire network of PBXs to the same clock over the network. That is not so easy.

Why don't all of these devices simply use NTP?? And that goes for Mitel, as well. There just is no excuse for these devices not to be running NTP or SNTP.

Amen to that! I have been complaining about this to Mitel for a number of years. Same goes with daylight savings time. Someday I feel like flying out to Kanata and knocking a few heads together! I have found that it seems better to get the right Mitel account manager's ear to get thing implemented in design. The problem is getting a sales person to listen to a tech!
