Mitel 3300 analog lines problem

I'm running a Mitel 3300 MXe controller, software version 7.

The issue is when dialing out on analog lines the customer gets "The call cannot be completed as dialed, please try again" from the telco anywhere from 10%-50% of the time. It doesn't matter what number is dialed, or whether it's local/LD/911.

As for programming I have added the settings in Progress tones form and <T01> in the ARS digits inserted etc, but still not working. I have also tested the lines with the Milliwatt number in the circuit descriptor. I have even put a Mitel 5000 on the same lines to test and not had any issue with it.

This has been an issue from day 1 on the 3300 for multiple sites, and all different models of controllers CXi CXi II, and when calling Mitel they told me the same thing/settings I've described above.

Is there a way to slow down the outpulsing of the DTMF? Or possibly change the timer for the DTMF tones to be a bit longer?

Anybody else have this issue???

I'll have to look when I'm back but I believe I gave it a 1-2 second pause. I was trying different settings but with the same result.

[pre]Tone Plan Number Maximum Wait For A Tone Action on Time-out

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

In Tone Plan 1 set the Maximum Wait for A Tone to 5 or 10. Then, below, in Tones to Detect Add Member with Tone to Detect set to NA Precise Dial Tone (or the tone from the list if you are not in NA) and Action To Take set to Outpulse DTMF. The 3300 should access the trunk, wait to detect NA Precise Dial Tone and then outpulse the digits. If it doesn't detect the tone it will go ahead and outpulse the digits after 5 or 10 seconds, depending on your Wait For A Tone setting.

I usually setup my analog lines with kwbMitel's settings.

I'll try it tomorrow and see. Mitel tech support said I didn't need a member in Tones to detect, but it's not working now so I'll up the timer and add the NA in there. Wish they stayed with the PRI.
