Using this procedure works on my 5340 phone, but not on my 5330 Mitel phone. When I call the first line, and hit the transfer/Conference line, it only gives me options to Release or Trade calls. I have checked the system options and have 8,8,8 on all Conference call options. I have checked the COS options and conference calls are enabled, yet I don't see conference as an option when I hit the transfer/Conference button or on the screen like on my 5340.

Both phones have exactly the same COS and COR too. Weird right?

Thoughts?

Ok, I answered my own question. After much trial and error the 5330 phone you have to do this:
Steps for Conference Call:
1) Dial First outbound call
2) Press the Transfer/Conference Button
3) Dial Second outbound call
4) Press the transfer/Conference Button (To add to conference)
5) Press the transfer/Conference Button
6) Dial Third Outbound Call
7) Press the transfer/Conference Button (To add to conference)
8) Press the transfer/Conference Button
9) Dial forth outbound Call
10) Etc

Adding inbound call to conference:
1) While in current conference call
2) (Outside call MUST come into another line and get parked)
3) Place conference call on hold
4) Call Retrieve parked call and place on hold
5) Press the line button for the conference call that is on hold
6) “Add Held” should appear in window, press this.
7) If that doesn’t work, press the transfer/Conference button once more to join calls.

Max of 7 called parties + your line are allowed = 8 Total callers

My 5340 Phone had an option on the screen to "conference" or something to that effect, that I assume the transfer/hold button is/was doing as well. I just assumed it should have said the same thing on the 5330 instead of just Transfer/Release. The second you hit the transfer/Conference button again it joins the lines.

Sorry to bother you guys, hopefully this helps someone out one day. Since this was for a fantasy draft conference call, I will probably refer back to this next year. LOL

For the inbound conferencing, you might want to check out this faq

Thanks for the info KWBMitel, that is WAY over my head, but I appreciate the response. I was in a pinch and figured it out with a little help from this board. We always appreciate your guys input on these things. I just don't know why the phone doesn't prompt you to create/join conference instead of having to instinctively having to press the transfer/conference button two times for each add.

Thanks Again,
