I have two drives a & b. i show a major alarm on the cab. the card for drive (b) has no lights other than green on it and that is the drive running now. We actually have had to do a force switch lately to move it to drive (a). We did not have any alarms on drive (a). Now the card that is associated with drive (a)but not running has lights coming and going (red & yellow), mostly in the morning rarely in the afternoon. any quesses.

Remember that time when you told yourself that if anything failed on the system you'd deal with it when the time came?

Well, your hard drives need to be replaced and all I can say is good luck and god bless

from maintenance issue the mss command. Hard errors indicate drive failure. AS KWB so eloquently put it GOOD LUCK

Thanks may be if I keep spending money on hard drives we will purchase a 3300.

Which also have 1 (and 2 if you're smart) hard drives in them

I didn't even consider the option of replacing only one earlier, that's crazy talk.

I have done a reformat and reinstall as a first option before replacing the drive. Only about 10% of the time this fixes it. Usually repalce the drive.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.
