Mitel 200 Light ISDN Node issues 1

1. I have a tech that has logged into Mitel and cannot seem to locate IMAT Software Level 4 to connect to an ISDN Node 4.8.7 or 10.
Anyone know where I can get this level of software?

2. Tech seems to think only Windows 95 will work, would 98 do? I have that on a Toshiba 440CDT laptop.

3. Is it Null modem cable required?

Can't help with software.

May work on XP becuase the current software for the 3300 runs on XP. Will need a null modem cable.

Tried to find software; no luck. I think it will run on up to 98SE if you can find it. You could always upgrade!

what are you trying to do, maintain this gateway or simply get the configuration out of it on an upgrade?
if you simply want the configuration, you can find the directory where the database is kept on the NT box and copy the files out to a floppy.
then you can create a database in a newer version of IMAT and copy those files into the directory created by IMAT.
it has been a long time since I have done this, but was able to read the files in a version of IMAT that was too new to be able to connect to the box itself.
If you intend to maintain it, then your best bet would be to load the IMAT software on the NT box itself. There was one version that caused the gateway to fail because it renamed the "mitel" folder to "mitel archived" but all you had to do was rename it back.
