Mitel 1000

Does anybody know anything about the Mitel 1000? Does it know inteoperate with the 3300 succesfully? Is the audio preserved when the 3300 puts a call on hold? Will Mitel make the 1000 MiNet capable?

Yes the SC1000 console works on the MXe controller if you have a Per cab with a DNIC card installed
It is a Minet proprietary console

If you are asking if Mitel do a IP version of the SC1000 yes they do it is called a 5540IP Console

Thanks for replying but I am refering to the PBX Mitel1000. This is a small PBX with two Sip trunks, 2 POTS, 4 DECT phones and 4 hybrid extensions. Have a look at mitel web site.

When connecting the Mitel1000 to the 33000 over SIP there was a problem when putting a call on hold (3300 side). I was wondering if that problem has been fixed.

Sorry I shoulf read these posts more carefully!
As far as I am aware the Mitel 1000 may not ever be converted to Minet as this was an Intertel product

The Mitel 1000 ( or really the Inter-tel 1000 ) is a small key system that is for the very small business market. It is sold as almost a phone system in a box concept where it would be sold directly to users.

It will most likley ever be made MiNet capable as that is not the market the system is aimed at. The best you could hope for is it to support SIP trunks, which I doubt it ever will.

The single biggest problem with communications is the illusion that it has taken place.
