I don't seem to have VDN or vector variables. I'm using CM 6 (SOFTWARE VERSION: R016x.03.0.141.0) and I've seen other posts using vector variables like V1 to V9. And yet other posts that use commands like "change variable". I get an error for Command: change "var" is an invalid entry; please press HELP.
And no where in the VDN two pages of parameters do I see any VDN VARIABLES* V1, V2, ... V9.
Why can't I see VDN variables, or use the change variable command? Is there some kind of special license required?

Think its a licensing I am on CM8.1 do a "display system-parameters customer-options" for me its on page 7of12 "Vectoring (Variables)? n

Thank you bignose21.
So what would be the process to turn it on though?
Contact Avaya, purchase/install license and then do a change system-parameter features and toggle to 'y'?

Call Center Elite on R6 is end of sale for both new and expansions. To add call center functions at this point will require an upgrade to R8.

Alternatively you might want to look at the conversion to subscription option. I believe Avaya will allow you to convert to subscription on the 141 load and add a subscription CC Basic license to get all the ACD bells and whistles.
