We are constantly having transactions missing from reports. We post, and they go to the GL, later we run some customer transaction reports and they are missing.
We have rebuilt the RM Keys table a few times, but this continues to happen.
1) Do you have history turned on ? I've seen where people turned it on and off and there were large gaps in history.
2) Pipes. We had a pipe symbol in a GL account name (put in there by accident) and the account ended up not being shown on the standard trial balance detail.
3) Do you see the records in the database in the non GL tables ? The main question I'd have is "is the data there or not" and then I could focus on report problems or code problems. If you don't know the table, open the form/window where the user inputs the data and look in Tools \ Resource Descriptions \ Windows and get the tables names. We use SQL server so I need to then use Tools \ Resource Descriptions \ Tables to get the database table name (i.e. GL20000).
