Missing text on large print job

Environ:

Crystal Reports 8.0: ver 8.0.1.8
CRW32: ver 8.0.1.547
reports via URL to IE 5.5
crviewer.dll: ver 8.5.0.473
printer: Canon iR 5000-6000 plc6

When a user runs a large print job (approx 800 pages, two sub reports per page) - on perhaps 3 or 4 printouts - seemingly at random some text is missing from the report's text object.

For example the following text:

Joseph Bloggs
Amount: 14563.23
Date: 11 Jun 2002

might print something like this:

oseph Bl ggs
Amoun : 1 6 .2
Date 1 un 200

When you run the individual report (small volume) the report is fine it is also fine on screen. Anybody have any thoughts on this one?

Nobody has had problems printing reports with large volumes of data using the Web Component Server??
