I take care of the computer systems at my church and the office uses Publisher for our bulletins. The user of the computer that Publisher is installed on has told me that the "left side toolbar" she used is no longer showing up. I have checked and I think all the checks are enabled for all toolbars, but the one she used still is not showing.
I don't use Publisher, so I'm not familiar with the program.
I did a reg restore(XP Pro)back two weeks and still no toolbar.
I reloaded publisher from the original MS cd (Office XP) and it still is not showing.
I guess I will attempt to uninstall and reinstall Publisher, but I'm afraid that the reg settings are going to just put me right back to the same "user settings" that were in place before.
So my question would be: could I be missing something in enabling this "missing toolbar"?
Is there a default "switch" someplace I can use to go back to the original install and show all toolbar's by defaults?
If no, could someone advise what registry settings I need to edit so when I do the uninstall and reinstall of Publisher, I can get an "out of the box" default setup?
Thank you for you time and effort regarding this request.
