I have a user who came in to work today after being out two days. All of the mail in her inbox was gone. Mail is being saved to the exchange server. No backup, nothing in deleted items. Any ideas?
hi yes this is a prob that hapens when you are trying to use a roaming profile go to
start
find (files and folders)
type in there *.ost
delete this file and then reboot outlook and your mail will be there
Did the person access their email from a remote location using another Outlook program? If yes, then that particular Outlook setup could have been setup to deliver mail to a personal folder which would then cause all the mail to be removed from the Exchange server.
