Missing columns with shared address books 1

Someone has shared her address book with me. On her screen, she has column headings of first name, last name, etc., but I see different information. I tried to add the columns from edit>columns, but that option is greyed out. Does anyone know how to do this without giving me full rights to the address book? I don't understand why it looks one way on the owner's screen, but a different way on mine.
