missing appointments

outlook 2000 and exchange 2000 environment -- client is saying that 1 out of 20 scheduled appointments (on a random basis) gets deleted from any of the users calendars... any thoughts on what might be causing this?

I was experiencing something similiar. But in our case it was mailbox corruption.

Update outlook to the latest Service Pack. I believe there are some issues like this that get resolved in outlook2000 SP3. You should read this link first though
SP3 blocks attachments from coming into a mailbox. You need to modify the registry to allow attachments.
