I have a phone set to ring on incoming call unless it is in use, since there are other phones near by. When she is on the phone any incoming calls do not log on her set (because it does not ring). Is there a way for her to see missed calls without having her phone ring during calls as this would be disruptive?
If the call did not ring at her desk how can I get the caller id to show? Currently she simply walks to the other phones to see if there are any missed calls.

Is the phone a member of a ring group? What type of phone? How many line buttons are assigned to the phone? Depending on the type of phone, feature 812 on a digital set will display the call log.

The set is a I2004. There are no line buttons assigned, it is part of ring group 600 that rings on all incoming calls.

You could increase the number of line appearances on her extension from 1 to 2 and enable Call Waiting (in order to get calls presented on her phone while she's on the phone) and set the Audible Call Waiting option under Nortel Settings to either Buzz (just a short beep when a new call arrives) or None (no audible indication). With calls presented on her phone while she's on another call, the call log of her phone (accessed using F812 or the Outbox key) should show the missed calls.
