Time Conditions and Call Flow Control ...

Hi everybody -

We're having some issues with time conditions and call flow control.

Initially, the system was set up with a time condition of "Open" from 9am - 4pm Monday thru Friday. If the condition matches, it goes to the ring group. If it doesn't match, it goes to the IVR. That part is working OK.

Occasionally, there is a need for us to activate the auto attendant during the daytime (office is closed on an off-schedule day, for example). We have a Call Flow Control setting created. Normal flow goes to time conditions, and overflow goes to Announcements/IVR.

When we toggle the Call Flow Control to ON (override), the expectation is that the system will send the calls to the IVR/Announcements. Instead, the sets keep ringing. One of the destinations must not be set correctly or got changed somehow, but I'm not sure which one to change to get the "on-demand" auto attendant back.

Thanks for the help!

On the Call Flow configuration page, set the Current Mode to Override and test if calls are routed to the announcement. If not, maybe the calls are routed in the inbound route to the time condition and not to the call flow.
