Misreported disk space on novell drive mappings

We have an intermittent problem where Windows 95 Explorer incorrectly shows our free disk space on our Novell server drive.One time it will have 17GB with 9GB free and the next time when we log in and check it it reports as only 2GB with no space free. The first report of 17GB is correct.

Anyone any ideas?

Try using the latest NetWare Client (v3.3)

File compression can mess with accurate disk space statistics also....

Hi John, I have a customer that is running into this same problem. I have recommended upgrading the Novell client to 3.3, but they do not think this is the fix. Have you upgraded the client? If so, did this resolve the problem?
