A customer has an unusual problem with cell phone callers who use the AA to dial directly to extensions. Calls are often misinterpreted and end up at Extension 110. Will software upgrade fix this cell phone issue?

More than likely it's a timing issue. Seems the DTMF tones generated are not long enough for the system to recognize them. I can't remember if there is an option in the call pilot to shorten the requirement..

This is an accepted problem and there are DSP patches released by nortel
Latest version I've seen is .A8

Ask your vendor and they should be able to get it installed - the CP needs to be rebooted after loading it

I have a late issue of CallPilot 100 3.1. If I upgrade from 2.0 to 3.1, will this fix it?

Maybe/maybe not. Cell phones are always going to be a problem. If the cell user hits a digit just after cresting a hill by farmer Brown's house in the middle of Iowa and goes from 3 bars to 1 or zero, the digit may not go through. The good news is that farmers are usually a polite bunch and will wave anyways..........

It will definitely update the DSP firmware.
The latest CP release is 31.10.31.22.
There were a few releases of 31 that had some issues.
The latest seems pretty stable.
If you use Reporting for Call Center, you'll need to update that too after upgrading the CP.
