Help!!! My company recently replaced our G3siV5 with a G3siV9.5. Everything is great, except that now calls comping into the switch via two CO trunk cards over ground start trunks are being mis-routed. The calls are being answered via a vector with an announcement board. We are using 3 digit extensions. When a caller calls, the first digit they enter is being doubled and tripled. Local TelCo has been out many times, and realigned all the trunks. I have 3 inbound T1's running over the same vector/announcement board, that are fine. Any clues???

Thanks,
Elliott

I would try 2 things 1 I would use asa or dsa in emulation mode and do a list trace vdn XXX or list trace vec xxx
2 i would service observe the vdn from your set and listen for touch tones being collected after the announcement.you may also have events in the event log .
Hope this helps.

I tried this and did not have any luck in figuring anything out. If there are any more suggestions please post. Thanks!

I could be wrong, but I thought loop start trunks were much more advisable than ground start? Or is it the other way around?

Can you post the screen from your CO trunk config (and maybe the VDN/Vector as well) ?

Also check the incoming destination, if calls should go to f.i. VDN 300, and in the incoming destinition field there's a value of 3002, all calls will automatically "dial" option 2 in your VDN menu... though I don't think this is your problem.

Regards,
Nico

BellSouth onsite today with test set and a test set in the CO. We were able to trap the digits being out pulsed from the CO. There was duplication of the first digit between the CO and my site. I will update once the network guy comes onsite on Wednesday.

Thanks for all that have replied.
