Has do you setup "Mirrored" drives on a W2K server that does not have a Raid card. I can do it using the Dynamic drives, but I would like to install W2K Serv. to a mirrored drive. Any Ideas or suggestions.

Do it with the dynamic drives and just mirror the partitions. CJ

Don't drink and post, save that for driving home!

Can you explain how to do that?

I think what you're saying is that you want to mirror the drives and then install Win2K server...

You can't do that using Windows disk managment since windows needs to be installed before you can configure dynamic disks.

You need a hardware RAID solution if you want the drives mirrored before you install any software.

Thanks, that is what I have have found, but I thought I might have been missing something.

Thank you.

You need a second drive with enough free space to mirror the first volume.

Open disk management (right-click on my computer, pick "manage", select "Disk Management" under storage).

Right-click on the NTFS volume you want to mirror and pick "add mirror".

Select the drive with enough free space and pick "Add mirror" button.

It may take a while to mirror your drive, if it is pretty full.

All done!
