Why do you think it doesn't work??

Can you give us the output of 'lsvg -l zprdev'??

Here after lsvg -l zprdev

zprdev:
LV NAME TYPE LPs PPs PVs LV STATE MOUNT POINT
zprdev_data1 jfs 489 978 2 open/syncd /zprdev_data1
zprdev_data2 jfs 480 960 2 open/syncd /zprdev_data2
zprdev_data3 jfs 462 924 2 open/syncd /zprdev_data3
zprdev_redo jfs 9 18 2 open/syncd /zprdev_redo
zprdev_log jfs 8 16 2 open/syncd /zprdev_log
loglv01 jfslog 1 2 2 open/syncd N/A
zprdev_data4 jfs 501 1002 2 open/syncd /zprdev_data4

It looks fine to me. Is there any problems??

Not really, but i don't understand (my first message) the free column and the difference beetween hdisk2-hdisk9 and hdisk22-> hdish25.

MAny thanks for your help.

Patrick.

Unless you specify exactly where to put each LVs PP copies you won't see exactly identical disks.
Remember that you mirror LVs not PVs.

The columns you see lists free space. Since the disks are almost full the only free space is the last column which equals the free column.

Thanks, it's much comprehensive now. Finally, this mirroring is good.

Now, for monitoring this F/S or Disk can i use nmon tool.

Patrick.

Yes, nmon will tell you something (but not all). Do you know how to use it?

filemon is an excellent tool but you need to know how to analyze the output.

Just a little, in fact i wish to use this tool with rrdtool but it doesn't work fine. The result in the gif's aren't good, nothing in.
