Miran III channel 7

I am trying to allocate am announcement to channel 7 on a Miran III card unsuccessfully.

Channel 7 was previously configured as a DID route for the TUI and the announcement recorded.When I try to allocate the announcement file to the reconfigured RAN trunk on channel 7 via the text based interface using calendar assignment,the response is 'error : access to channel denied'.I am logged on as admin with access to all channels.

I beleive you can only assign Channel '7' as TUI configured as DID Trunk

Channel 7 is typically assigned as the TUI but according to NTP 553-3001-112 pages 27, 90 & 240 it is available for RAN or music if TUI is not used. It appears you just build a RDB for a RAN and assign the announcement accordingly. I don't have an unused one available to try it here but it looks like it should work.

The NTP is misleading.You can only assign channel 7 as Ran or Music on an 8 port card !
