When replacing a Miran card is that somthing where the existing card is just swapped out like a digital line card or is there reprogramming that needs to be done?

We are getting static on some of the recordings and want to replace the Miran card

I think you can get away with just moving the CF card and dongle to the new card. I would write down the keycode and licensed ports before doing so just for safety though. Shouldn't require any programming changes on the switch itself.

There are 3 types of Miran cards. The first two were accessible via AX x etc if the card was installed in a Option 11c system in the main cabinet.

Version 3 was in effect a 32 port media card that had a inbuilt compact flash flash that you could look at on your computer. Best to look for a file called "_keycode.dat". This file contains the keycodes.

If you can access the card OK, then you can select 2 for Pack Administration as shown below

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

I have changed a MIRAN in past, below were the steps

1- Installed new MIRAN card.
2- Install Keycode.
3- If you wants your old Announcement/Music back again then change new flash card (On card surface) with old MIRAN flash card.
