Had a miran card installed and all routes and aoouncements have been created. The card works fine for all routes for about 3 weeks and then the card administration is not able to be gotten into and announcements don't play. I disabled the card and receided the card. Anyone else have this problem?

if that did not fix the card, may have a bad card. did you have the serial connection hot when you re-seated the card? a good card with an os problem will boot into the install menu to the serial port..

I did not have the serial connection hot. Once I receided card announcements are now playing not able to get into administration now though. I enter the access code for admnistration and nothing is heard.

What does the LED display on the front of the card say?
Should be MRN3 or RAA0, I think.

The card display reads RAAO. I was able to get the card to work. I have been having trouble with the card locking up and I need to disable and recede the card. The vendor who installed the card tested a nd found no problem with the card.

You also have a small reset-button on the front of the card.
Have you tried it when the card stops working?
You need a PC connected to the serial plug on the frontface
of the card to troubleshoot this further I think.

Miran3, 1st install you need to set the IP to Static if you don't and the card reset It will not work.

Is this a typical problem were the card locks up. I would hate to have to reset every couple of weeks. Is there something I can look at to not have this card lock up?

If LED display reads RAA0 then it's a MIRAN2.
MIRAN3 reads MRN3 in the display. Thus me asking that q.
MIRAN2 don't need IP-setting like MIRAN3 do.
