I am attempting to setup our 8 port MIRAN (3.0 software) to play a broadcast announcement on three of the ports. When I do this and attempt to playback the announcement through a Symposium script using the "GIVE RAN [route #]" I hear silence. I'm not sure if I have enough broadcast licenses on the PBX or if I configured the route and trunks correctly. However I know the MIRAN card works because the MOH is fine and I can create non-broadcast routes to playback fine through Symposium. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction? I'll include my route and trunk config below.

Thanks in advance!

i don't think if connections can be left at zero. mine are 4 and above. what do you get when you dial 5614? i had trouble with that same thing when i installed the symposiumn. give ran, give ivr were dead air and a trace confirmed the connection. i just needed to boot symposium, with the pilot down, then bring up the pilot

Ahh, very good find! I added that and also had to change ASUP (answer supervision) to No so that it would work. I don't understand that prompt. Would you have any idea what that does?

Thanks a lot foor finding that!
