We are having issues where upon the first login to their voicemail users are recording their name announcement, but Voicemail Pro is not saving it and prompts them to rerecord. The problem seems to be when users record their name too quickly.

Is there a minimum length of time required for recording a name announcement in IP Office mode in Voicemail Pro?

Thanks.

On VMPro Server Go to Start --> Run --> Type Regedit

Navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Network Alchemy\Voicemail\Directories\MinimumMessageLength

change value 50

That should fix it.

If you have 3.1 VM Pro then the minimum length is 5 second, you must be of high nobility to have such a long name.
This will be solved in the May maintenance release.

For all other versions there is a value in the registry :

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Network Alchemy\Voicemail\Directories]
"MinimumRecordedNameLength"="2"

So the standard minimum length is 2 seconds

Currently MinimumRecordedNameLength is set to 1000. If this is 5 seconds then a value of 400 should represnt 2 seconds? Is that correct?

Thanks.
