i'm installing a mini carrier remote and had it in slot zero on an opt 61 the cards on the opt 11 slotted out as slot 1, 2, 3, 4. so there is a one slot difference between the local and the far end site. does this appear across the opt11 cabinet? such that loop 5 in the 61c is loop 6 in the opt 11.

Slot 0 on an IPE shelf? On 61C usually loop 0 and 1 used for conference/TDS. Card slot 0 for an 11C is SSC card slot 1 is available for any other card used for an 11C. Trunks, digital or analog line card etc. Your loop/card designations on an 11C are usually 2 numbers; the card number and then the unit number the larger switches use 4 number designation for super loop, shelf, card, unit

we relabel the slot numbers on the remote side to correspond with the IPE shelf...slot one is just the way the remote cab is default labeled..slot one becomes what ever even slot the local carrier card starts at..

mahalo and aloha 1998xj8 there is no place in the ntp that explained it that way. in the book it shows slot for slot.
i just moved my remote side cards back to 1-4 and they all came up. u da man (or gal sorry lol)
