Hello all,
I have a mini carrier remote off site and am trying to enable an analog line card.
I have several digital card in there and they work fine.
This is the second card we have tried in the past 24 hrs .
We put it in and program 500 series sets to it and it should enable.
Any assitance would be greatly appreciated.
the customer is getting panicky... thanks

With the MCR how many card slots is the main switch do you have the MDR equipment? Do you have enough slots with MCR equipment in the main to cover the analog slot you are using in the Mini Carrier Remote? Remember you have to have the equipment in the main to make that slot remote.

Hi All
We currently have two digital line card in the mini and the analog card we are trying is in the 3rd slot.
In the 61c on this end we have 1 local mini carrier I/f NT5D68CA in slot 20 0 0 0 and 20 0 0 1 .
Do we need a card locally in 20 0 0 3 to reflect the analog card in the mini carrier.
We really have not used the mini carrier other than 12 digital phones of the dgtl card.
Thanks for any insight you may have.

yes you will need a card ion the local slot to enable a thirud card in the mini.. but if your just using 12 dig sets move them to one card and put the ana in the 2nd slot as opposed to the third

Hi John,
I do have an LMX card to put in to give me 2 more card in the mini carrier.
I need to leave the 2 digital card there because by end of week wil will have about 25 or so digital sets.
From the books I have been looking at I thin I need to put in the LMX card , set the jumpers to off and hook p2 amphanol connector to D which would be the 2nd of the 2 line card slots occupied by LMX1. Program 10 500 series sets and I should be able to have modem lines up and running I hope.
This has been a tuff but good experience in learning more about the Mini carrier Remote capabilities. Just wish the time constraints were better.
Thanks again.
If you have any more input I would love to hear it.

I am still having trouble with the connection ports in the back.
Anyone have any experience with mini carriers and analog cards.
Is there any programming to be done on the mini carrier end.
I just have the card sitting in the 3rd slot and then I put the LMX card in the 61c and programmed a set of the analog card in 20 0 2 0 but it still gives me NPR326 cant see remote card..
a tired man
