Mimail@MM virus removal failure 1

Hi one user has the above virus on their pc, i tried running stinger from Mcafee, but no luck, the virus definations are upto date as well so i cannot work out why it still exists

Have you installed the appropriate patches?

ok sorry my mistake the actual os is 2000 pro not xp,
ok next question i have installed internet explorer 6 and am trying to install
