Hi,

Can any of you please help me find a link or info about what I will need to know for Crystal reports migration from one version to the other version...or any do and do not to be kept in mind when implementing migrations

I have no idea about migrating....I really appreciate any help on this

TIA,
Sweetie

Is it possible to do a migration skipping a version between? Like from version 9 to version XI.

We went from 8.5 to 10, without much trouble. One report with complex links stopped working, mostly because the 8.5 method wasn't really correct.

Can you please provide any links where i can read about he migration process...I apperciate it, Thank you.

You still haven't posted what versions you have and intend.

And yes, you can skip versions.

Should be fairly painless, especially if you haven't used Crystal Queries as data sources.

Ther is a Crystal Import Wizard so that you can copy everything (for the most part) from the old CE to the new.

Also note that there are many fixes to the import wizard in the service packs, so prior to running it, apply the latest service pack.
