Hi

I am using Access 2000
I have a rich text box in my application
with name ActiveX100
This rich text box displays large data and is working
fine in the Access 2000 environment

Now, if I try to open this Access 2000 in the Access 2003
environment I am getting a lot of errors
I get an error 2683:
There is no object in this control
and the application is stopping at the richbox set focus event

Could some one please suggest how I can overcome this migration problem?

thanks

Sounds like you will have to update the ActiveX also.

What do you suggest would be the remedy to this?

Thanks

Well the problem is that your activex does not migrate with access 2003 so you will need to update this activex too.

Or..... do you also have to make some kind of refrence (in refrences) to this ?

How can I upgrade this activeX control?
I am using a Rich text box as the ActiveX control

Hmmmm as I understand you this is an ActiveX and ... mayby I am misunderstanding something.... ActiveX's can be version related.
If so, and it sounde like that, to me, you must find out who created this activex and get an update from them - That is if this one is not incl. in the access package.

Did you try to make a new empty form and add the activex, from the activex selection, again?.
