Hello.

I am migrating from win nt to small buisness 2003. I have followed microsoft's guide on how to do this. I installed ADMT software, and migrated all user accounts. Perfect. But then it comes to exchange accounts. When i type the servername, user account (administrator) and password - and push next, i get this error: Invalid server specified or you do not have the permissions required to complete the operation.

If i type a wrong administrator password, i get a error saying i typed wrong port, or server name etc. So the password is correct, its all about the permissions. Where do i set the permissions? Is that in the exchange administrator ? And wich permissions should the administrator have on wich objects?

SP4 is also installed on the source server (nt4), but when i installed it, i got some errors with files it couldent write over, because they where already in use (3 file overwrite errors). I couldent do anything else than push ignore.

But if i click about in the exchange admin tool, it says SP4 is insatalled....

Bare with me, if this is a lame error. I have never done it before. And google cant help me.

I am about to do what you are currently doing only a slightly larger scale. From what I have read though you neet your NT 4.0 server to be patched to at least SP5 or higher. Once this is done I will be doing an Exchange 5.5 to 2003 migration. Naturally, I am curious about your experiences with this process.
