I am in the process of migrating users and computers from a a windows 2000 source domain to a new windows 2003 target domain.
It appears to work when migrating users and then computers with no errors and the objects appear in the new AD.
However when a client logs on to the new domain and tries to access his home drive he gets a access is denied message.
His profile appears to have come across OK and his "old" network drives are all mapped but he cannot access them because of this access denied problem.
If I grant access to the network drives for the user on the new domain he can then work OK.
I was under the impression that migrating SIDs would allow the user to access resources as he did before.
Any help would be appreciated.
