Migrating SMS2033 from one server to an other

Hi all,
We have an old server running SMS 2003 as the primary site with no secondary or child sites and I now want to migrate it to a new server and decommission the old server. I can't find anything in the book on this type of migration, only on V2.o to 2003 migrations.
Has anyone got an ideaon how I go about doing this?

Use the recovery expert and follow the instructions to rebuild a server.

Basically you need to have a backup of the existing server DB, save the reg keys, and do a recovery to the new server using the same name and IP address. (bit more complex but thats the basics
