Hey Everyone,

Here's my dillema. We have a scenario where we have an Ex 5.5 server running on W2K. We are implementing a Ex 2003 server running W2K3. Many of our public folders currently have user created forms published. And ofcourse, to make matters worse, we have lost the original source code for the forms. Ideally, we'd like to migrate all these folders over to Ex2003, maitaining the forms as they are and of course the data as well. What is the best way to do this?

Regards,

Vinod

Hi Marc,

Thanks for the link. I checked it out, however, the article doesn't mention anything specifically in regards to published forms within the public folder. Will using PFMigrate actually replicate the form itself, or will it only replicate the data within the public folder?

I honestly do not know as I never tried that using forms.
I would say, set-up a test server and try, which is good practice anyway before a live-move.

My understanding is that forms will replicate with the folders. YMMV, and I've never had to do it involving custom forms.

We are gonna lab it up and find out... once I know, I'll post a response.

Thanks for the advice...
