I migrated my OE addressbook to Eudora 5.1 (the non-registered ad version).

However, most of my address entries in OE have entries in the "First" and "Last" name fields. Those didn't translate over into the Eudora addressbook equivalent fields. It did use those OE names to create nicknames.

Is there a work around to get Eudora to fill in those "First" and "Last" name fields?

I just figured out a work around. OE gives you the ability to write your addressbook to a text file.

Eudora has the ability to import a text file.

Of course each has a different format, but a perl script should take care of changing the OE generated text file to the format looked for in Eudora.

So that's the solution.
